With a book by the late Douglas McGrath and the music and lyrics of Carole King, Gerry Goffin, Barry Mann, and Cynthia Weil, Beautiful is the inspiring tale about a girl who became King.

Before she was Carole King, the voice of a generation, she was Carol Klein, a spunky young song-writer from Brooklyn with a unique voice. Carole broke into the record industry as a teenager and sold her first hit “Will You Love Me Tomorrow” at the age of seventeen. By the end of her teen years, she was performing alongside some of the biggest acts in rock ‘n’ roll including Aretha Franklin, The Monkees, The Drifters, and The Shirelles.

On her way to the top of the charts, King overcame her greatest challenges to find her own voice and finally step into the spotlight – becoming one of the most successful solo acts of a generation.
