David Moan opens voice studio with Encore Musical Theatre
| DEXTER, MI–David Moan, a favorite star of The Encore Theatre, The Dio Dining & Entertainment, The Michigan Irish Repertory Theatre and Michigan Opera Theatre has opened a voice studio! This presents a wonderful opportunity to study privately with one of Michigan’s most in-demand performers and educators. The David Moan Studio currently has limited openings. Lessons are priced at $70 per 50-minute session. About David Moan David graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BA in Vocal Performance from Manchester University, where he also studied choral conducting and theatre arts. Since then, David has had a diverse career balancing performing, directing, music directing, and teaching. Along with teaching private lessons in a wide variety of subjects, David has been Instructor of Music at Manchester University for 13 years, teaching diction for singers and countless master classes and camps. His professional Musical, theatrical, and operatic credits include award-winning performances with Detroit Opera, The Encore Musical Theatre Company, The Meadow Brook Theater, The Dio, TheatreNOVA, and more. |
| As music director and theatrical director, David has worked with Encore Musical Theatre Company, Michigan Opera Theatre Children’s Chorus, Go Comedy, Warren Civic Theatre, and Dexter Drama Club. David is one half of the musical improv duo Torch Song and has played at Go Comedy, the Chicago Musical Improv Festival, and the Dramatic Improv Festival as well as acting as Improv Coach at Dexter High School.
