Detroit Rep’s ‘Night Blooming’ a Zettelmaier premiere
DETROIT, MI–The Detroit Repertory Theatre’s premiere of Joe Zettelmaier’s Night Blooming wraps this weekend, and there are still seats available for Friday’s show, as well as two shows on Saturday and one on Sunday.
Directed by Kelly Komlen, the story is about a nomadic Arapaho Native American grandmother who reclaims three afflicted generations from the New Mexico desert: her abandoned daughter, her precocious grandchild — and her wandering self.
