Meadow Brook returns with ‘A Christmas Carol.’
ROCHESTER, Mich. – The Meadow Brook Theatre will once again, and for the 39th consecutive year, present Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol.
The holiday classic, which has become a signature show for The Meadow Brook, runs November 19 through December 23. Interested patrons are encouraged to buy their tickets soon as the shows tend to sell out, and fewer tickets than normal are being sold because of socially-distanced seating in the theatre.
Thomas Mahard returns as Scrooge. Other cast members include Jeff Thomakos (Marley’s Ghost), Olivia Ursu (Christmas Past), Anthony Guest (Christmas Present).
“We love A Christmas Carol,” says Cheryl Marshall, MBT Managing Director. “We couldn’t perform it last year, but we’re thrilled to be back. We’re making things as safe as possible. Everyone on the cast is vaccinated , they’re tested three times a week, and audience members are required to wear masks, per Oakland University requirements.”
Tickets range from $35 to $49 and are available through the theater’s website at Ticketmaster, or by calling 248-377-3300.
