Michigan Irish Rep is back with a new play from Cork City Ireland 11/12-13-14
ANN ARBOR, Mich. – The Michigan Irish Repertory Theatre is returning for an evening of Irish storytelling and a new one-act play, “Mam and Me,” fresh from its premiere in Cork Ireland at The Cork Arts Theatre.
The show will run November 12, 13th and 14th at Theatre NOVA in Ann Arbor. This is not a joint production with Theatre NOVA’s company.
“Mam and Me” is a new one-act play about an elderly mother and her adult daughter trying to connect. It is a breezy, charming one-act play, featuring Fran Potasnik as Dot and Sarah Burcon as Mary.
Before the one-act play begins, Michigan Irish Rep Artistic Director David Kiley and Mind The Gap Artistic Director Adrian Diffey will warm up the audience with some Irish story-telling and music.
Tickets can be purchased here. Please note that in keeping with Theatre NOVA’s rules and protocols, a Covid vaccine card must be presented to enter. And masks are required during the production. Only half a house will be seated to allow for social distancing, so only 40 tickets per performance will be sold.
The show times for Nov. 12th and 13th is 7:30PM. Show time for Sunday Nov. 14th is 3PM. Free parking is available at Theatre NOVA, which is located at 410 West Huron Street, Ann Arbor. Theatre NOVA’s home is in The Yellow Barn as you enter the parking lot.
