PINCKNEY, Mich.–A Wilde Theatre is excited to announce the first show in their second season, The Wild Women of Winedale, by Jessie Jones, Nicholas Hope and Jamie Wooten (authors of Dixie Swim Club and Always a Bridesmaid).

Performances are July 16 – July 25, 2021: Friday, July 16 @ 8:00 p.m; Saturday, July 17 & 24 @ 8:00 p.m; Sunday, July 18 & 25 @ 2:00 p.m. Performers include: Sarah Burcon, Angela Dill, Monica Hiris, Laura Mandernack, Kez Settle, Jeannine Thompson.

About the show:

This heartwarming comedy focuses on three women at crossroads in their lives. Fanny and Willa, and their quirky sister-in-law, Johnnie Faye, have supported and cheered one another through life’s highs and lows.  Fanny, director of an outreach project for a museum, is interviewing women for her “Defining Women” series, and experiences a hilariously inappropriate reaction to her birthday. Willa is so stressed out from her nursing job she resorts to exercise, vodka and speed-knitting to cope. And Johnnie Faye is determined to find a man; preferably a man with a house, since hers is somewhere at the bottom of a Florida sinkhole.
