DETROIT, MICH.–The Detroit Playwrights’ Lab is having its second annual Staged Play Writing Showcase on July 20th at The Detroit Repertory Theatre.

There will be eight 10-minute plays and excerpts from metro Detroits’s finest up and coming playwrights. Doors open at 6:30 PM. The plays begin at 7 PM. Parking in the enclosed lot is free. The theatre has a bar in the lobby. The address is 13103 Woodrow Wilson Dr., Detroit.

Some of this area’s most notable Directors including Wilde Award winning Casaundra Freeman, Sarah Hawkins Moan, and Brenda Perryman of the Brenda Perryman TV Show serve as directors for these short plays.
