Detroit’s Black and Brown Theatre presents spring showcase April 6
DETROIT, Mich –Black and Brown Theatre is proud to present its spring showcase.
Following a successful fall showcase of work, Black and Brown Theatre will present 7 ten-minute plays starring fifteen actors of color and featuring five guest directors including Charity Clark-Anderson, K Edmonds, Bridgette Jordan, Imani Sims, and Oliver Pookrum of the Oliver Pookrum Theater Project.
Audiences will be entertained with a range of stories, from one about a female superhero learning to juggle her powers and heroism with her day to day activities to a young man getting the courage to finally ask his lifelong friend if she will go to prom with him.
The one-night-only performance will take place Thursday, April 6th at 7pm inside the Charles H. Wright Museum’s GM Theatre. Complimentary light refreshments will be served from 6:30-7:00pm.
