ROYAL OAK — Actress and director Nancy Kammer, of Grosse Pointe Park, had put her career on hold to care for her mother, who has dementia and lives nearby with Kammer’s young adult daughter.
But when she got a call from Water Works Theatre Company founder Ed Nahhat to direct William Shakespeare’s “Twelfth Night” for Shakespeare Royal Oak this summer, she knew she couldn’t say no.
