The bar has been set high indeed, with this moving production of Paula Vogel’s “How I Learned to Drive,” which was awarded the Pulitzer Prize for drama in 1998. There’s a reason Ms. Vogel’s small, Off-Broadway drama won this kind of oversized acclaim, and it has everything to do with writing a beautiful play about an ugly subject.
