You probably think that “Rounding Third” is a calculated attempt to cash in on Detroit Tigers Opening Day and the start of baseball season, and you’re probably right.
But that’s no reason to miss all the fun involved in the two-character comedy currently on the stage at Tipping Point Theatre in Northville. The great thing about the 2002 play is how well it covers the fundamentals, starting with an exceedingly clever script by Richard Dresser about two very different types of men.
