A Michigan blizzard in the middle of March helps set the scene for “Sex with Strangers,” the romantic drama playing through April 3 at the Detroit Public Theatre.
As the two-person show opens, the happily snowbound Olivia (Hallie Bee Bard) is more surprised than scared when a car pulls up and a young man, Ethan (Matt Lockwood), enters her rented cabin, claiming he has a reservation.
