Ever since playing a porcupine as fifth-grader in a school production of “The Wind in the Willows,” Julia Garlotte has had a love affair with live theater. As an adult, she not only works full time as box office manager at the Purple Rose Theatre in Chelsea but also acts on local stages and does  sound for local productions.
