Williamston Theatre presents second annual 'Songs, Friends and Fun'

WILLIAMSTON - The Williamston Theatre will present an evening of music featuring many of its most popular performers on Sunday, July 29 at 7 p.m.

"We are bringing back this incredibly popular evening of music," said executive director John Lepard. "The event was an unexpected hit last summer, so we thought we'd do it again. It's a great way to provide a different kind of entertainment on our stage and show off the incredibly diverse talents of our regular performers."

The evening will feature performers familiar to Williamston Theatre audiences, including Dana Brazil, Tony Caselli, Rochelle Clark, Aral Gribble, Matt Gwynn, Michelle Held, Tobin Hissong, John Lepard, Emily Sutton-Smith, Joseph Zettelmaier, and some surprise guests. Jeff English will musical direct an evening of Broadway hits, in addition to acoustical and original work.

Tickets are $25 and may be reserved by calling the theater at 517-655-7469.

The Williamston Theatre is a not-for-profit, professional live theater company, dedicated to producing plays that excite, engage and entertain its audiences. The theater opened its doors in 2006 and has received a number of local awards, including the 2008 Robert Busby Award for extraordinary overall contribution to theater in the Greater Lansing Area.
